Shes here! 🎀
My water broke at 5am on Tuesday morning while I was asleep. I ran to the bathroom and realized I also had meconium coming outta me. I took a shower and started getting everything together. By 8am I was at the hospital and I was hooked up and monitored. My doctor was paged and in no time arrived to check and see how I was progressing. By almost 9am, I was 3cm dialted. I was put on Pitocin because my contractions werent making any progress. I was told as much as I wanted a natural birth it wouldnt be so natural nomore because of the Pitocin. I was still aiming for a NO EPIDURAL. My contractions started getting stronger and lasting longer as time passed. And I was to stubborn to ask for the epidural, so I got the medication in my IV which didnt do much but make me feel drowsy. I was told I had high blood pressure and I was diagnosed with Preeclampsia so they put me on Magnesium which really made me feel like I was failing so much on my natural birth plan because of all this medication, but all I wanted was my babygirl to come out safe and healthy! By 5pm I was 6cm & I could no longer take the pain so after torturing myslef for so long I gave in & asked for the epidural . BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE! I was finally 10cm & ready to push! I pushed for about 30 min and out came my babygirl! 🎉🎀💝💕 My due date was July 15th. But I guess she couldnt wait any longer to meet mommy and daddy. 😘👨👩👧
