Paranoid cause of smell

Two weeks ago my husband said I smelled down there after I just had a shower. Ever since then I have been extremely paranoid, embarrassed, and sad tbh. I never had this happen to me and I’m not sure what to do. Every time I shower I clean myself as best as I physically can. I recently showered and scratched myself while cleaning due to my long nails, stupid on my part. I literally scrub and scrub until my hands can’t take it anymore. We just recently tried to have sex and when my husband took off my pants and underwear I kept my legs closed and I would cross them. So he put my legs on his shoulders and I still kept my legs together and I tried to cover my privates with my hands. That obviously turned him off and he didn’t finish. He asked if I was gonna keep my legs clinched the entire time. I know he was frustrated and didn’t mean his tone or anything. Any way, question is, what could have caused the odor and what could make it go away????? I don’t have any weird discharge or burning. Just the odd smell. This has to go so I can get back to my normal self. This probably isn’t even enough detail and I guess I should just go to the doctor to get checked out. Just thought you ladies might have some input. Thanks.
