Water breaking.

Hi. I'm a first time mom and I have a question, sorry if it's stupid! But, I can't stop thinking about how my whole labor experience will go. If I'm home, and my water breaks, or I feel like labor has started, do I need to RUSH to my hospital? I've read that some ladies have time to shower and get things ready, whereas, some just seem to be freaking out and leave the house ASAP like in movies. Did you have time to freshen up a little bit, I'd love to hear your stories! I feel overwhelmed.
