Delivering: mom’s with blood clots and taking blood thinners

When I was around 24 weeks, I found out that I have 2 DVTs in my left leg. I immediately began a treatment of a blood thinner (Lovenox) which I inject twice a day.

The blood thinner is already starting to work and dissolving my blood clots. I am almost 33 weeks and I was wondering if there were other moms on here that could share their experiences with this issue and delivering?

The goal as of right now is to avoid a c section at all costs ( due to risk of clotting after surgery). It sounds like my OB and high-risk OB want me to go naturally but that made my hematologist very nervous. She insisted that I need to be induced and hospitalized 48hrs prior to induction to be switched to Heparin.

Any moms out there that have gone through this?
