Help???

This sounds bad but how can I get this guy I have a thing with to give me attention without me looking clingy. I miss him sm but I dont want him to know I want his attention because he is being an asshole. He usually texts me and stuff but sometimes he can be weird like this. I just want to look like I dont care so he will text me first, I just want him to do it sooner. Sorry if I look super clingy or if your cringing really hard. Also ik that this is pretty much playing games I just dont want him to think Im weird or clingy
