First AF after MC question?

So on Tuesday I had a blood draw & my HCG was at 10. Today is Sunday and I just got my first period since losing my baby. I thought once your HCG goes to 0 you ovulate THEN have a period. Is it normal for mine to get to zero and then just immediatly start my period? Thank you in advance!

Sorry for ur loss 😔 not all women will ovulate after a miscarriage. Some just get their period and their system kind of "resets" after that. Hopefully this period is not too bad for you!

I started my AF literally the day after my levels dropped to negative (was getting routine blood work to track). Not sure if I ever ovulated before that.

Agree, not all women ovulate before getting their first AF. I didn't get my AF until 10.5 weeks later when hcg hit zero and never ovulated first.
