Heavy bleeding, no cramps, and my baby has a heartbeat?

Hi ladies. Im currently 6w1d pregnant and this morning around 8AM i started bleeding (gushing) blood. So i went to the ER and they did a pelvic exam and told me the bleeding did appear that its coming from my cervix.. they also did some blood work for hcg levels . Then they did an ultrasound, and there was a heartbeat! It was around 9:30am at this point and during the ultrasound they saw a heartbeat.. idk what to think rn the bleeding is minimal and I’m still having no cramps.. did any of you guys have this happen to you and still have a successful pregnancy?
