Deportation

So for those who don’t know the US President is advocating to infringe on one of the fundamental components of our society and of our Constitution: due process.

And I understand that a lot of you will probably say, “Oh but that can’t happen.” But if you look at the picture below, you’ll see that that sort of behavior has occurred in the past (from my history textbook from a class I took a year ago).

Now you might immediately be like okay so this Emma Goldman got deported for causing a ruckus so what. But the thing is that Emma Goldman was stripped of her citizenship (naturalized by her father), and sent to Russia because her beliefs didn’t align with those in power.

They can and have deported citizens. With that in mind read the tweet below and tell me your thoughts:
