Hashimoto’s... 37 years old.... and Low Ovarian Reserve

Amber

Hello! My name is Amber and I am a 37 year old woman and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for about Of year with no luck.

I have Hashimoto’s (autoimmune hypothyroidism) and have had an overhaul in my diet and lifestyle by way of a wonderful, functional medicine doctor.

I started doing acupuncture for infertility and assistance with my Hashimoto’s.

A big problem for me is stress. I am the Makeup Dept. Head for a tv show which is about 70+ hours a week. Also, the job itself is stressful....I have no set schedule... so making doctors appointments are hard. My sleeping patterns, exercise, (tmi) bathroom habits, eating habits are very challenging because of work. I am also the breadwinner in my family.

Anyways, I went to the gynecologist a couple of days ago and the nurse practitioner that works with my doctor called me and left me a voice mail and send that my blood test came back with “low ovarian reserve”. I tried calling back to get details but I have heard nothing.

I have been crying all day. I would love to hear any of your stories... especially if you might be going through something similar.
