a week late and brown discharge for 2 days

Me and my husband our child together we both have one from a previous relationship but we want one that is ours. we did the do every other day when I was ovulating n I'm a week past over due for aunt flow. I took a test ( in the pm bc I couldn't wait) and it came back negative. for 2 days tho I've had a lot of mucas brown discharge. could I finally be pregnant after 2 years of ttc? if not what could it be? ive stayed nauseas, sore breast, and cramping like crazy. should I test again and if so when.I'm praying I am. please help with comments
