I didn’t know I was having contractions😮😬🤫

Hello everyone this is really just a story about today. I went in for my normal scheduled appointment for a nonstress test . I was on the machine that track your contractions, baby’s heart rate and his movement frequency.

This took a good 20 minutes and the doctor had to look at the results of it. Well she comes back in the room and apparently I was having contractions about every minute!! From there she sent me right to the hospital to get checked out.

They immediately started giving me paperwork , asking about birth plans and such and though I had a gut feeling It wasn’t time I still was a bit nervous being a FTM and hubby is currently in Texas on business.

Long story short they brought me in the room and hooked me up to a similar machine. And told me to drink water as it could have been dehydration. They shot me up with some medicine that stopped the contractions. Checked my cervix I wasn’t dilating at all . So everything is fine , no baby today. Im currently 34w 5day and they plan on inducing me at 39 😊

And just to be clear I felt the contractions but I simply thought it baby pushing his butt up against me , they didn’t hurt at all . Just feel like pressure really
