Lessons Learned 😩

Jennifer β€’ Hopelessly in love with my soulmate, mother of four beautiful kiddos: πŸ’•03/03/08, πŸ’™05/06/10, πŸ‘ΌπŸ’™09/28/18 - 06/02/2020, πŸ’™03/27/2022 and current expecting #5 in July

I'm 26 weeks pregnant living in Phoenix so we have to either go very early or wait till the sun goes down to do pretty much anything during the summer. We decided to take the kids and dogs for a walk to the dog park tonight. It's only 5 blocks, we've walked before plenty of times. It was a last minute decision to go so I grabbed some water and we went. I was wearing a pair of ripped skinny jeans held together by a hair tie as my stomach will not allow them to button up any longer. It was a bad decision.....

I learned that 5 blocks might be fine but 10 blocks round trip plus walking around the park was enough to make my hips feel like they were going to fall apart. I also learned that just because they 'still fit' doesn't make skinny jeans at all a viable option for walking in the heat (or at all πŸ˜‚) I thought that getting them on was a big to-do but it was getting them off, well peeling them off of my sweaty skin, that proved the most challenging πŸ€ͺ I will be driving to the park next time in shorts or yoga pants IF I ever go again during this pregnancy at all!!
