So, I see a lot of people asking if they should cover up tattoos and take out piercings for job interviews... While others have their own views and opinions, here's mine! I absolutely do NOT cover anything up or take anything out for interviews, I feel like I am lying to them if I do. During my interviews, I will tell them that I am being honest as to what I have on my skin, first impressions are highly important and I will not treat them as a fool the first time they meet me. But, I am also respectful. So, even though I hate hiding the things that make me who I am, I will follow by company guidelines and policies for tattoos and piercings once hired on, so if I have to take out or cover anything up, I will. My tattoos and piercings do not define my capability of being professional and being a good, hardworking employee.
