Is it normal to skip a period on the nuva ring i took it out after the 3 weeks & it’s been 3 days n still no period. i got it last time i took it out on day 2 but my periods have been irregular ever since i can remember. i also am 3 months pp.

I remember when I was on the Nuba ring I didn’t get my period till day 3, always day 3 and I was told that was fine by my doctor and just to put the ring back in on it’s scheduled day to stop the period. It could definitely delay your period so don’t be too worried about it, just remember to put it back in on day 7

The nuva ring can be used two ways. Either you keep it in for the whole month and that tends to skip periods or you keep it in for 3 weeks take it out 1 week and that brings your period. But starting off it can be a little off so give it time your body has to adjust. As long as you are using it correctly you should be ok.
