what color is amniotic fluid? I got up from sleeping and did my morning stuff per hair and made coffee. tmi but I felt pressure so I pushed to poot  and some milky fluid ran down my leg. this never happened before I just want to be safe.

I just went to l&d; for this yesterday and they tested me and it was negative for amniotic fluid. I had had a hush of clear fluid the night before after I got out of the shower. My nurse told me that when in doubt, it’s better to get it checked out but amniotic fluid will be clear and odorless, and if you put on a pad it will soak it. If it’s milky it sounds like thin discharge, but if you’re unsure go get checked out.

I'm having milky like discharge and my dr tested it for amniotic fluid.. it was a neg. He said estrogen goes up and you'll have more discharge that has a whitish color. It is always best to get checked when in doubt!

You peed yourself! You baby is sitting lower and even tho you may think you emptied your bladder there is always just a lil more. But if your concerned don’t post it on here go to L&D; bc they are the only ones who can check you and confirm it’s not your amniotic fluids leaking. But again I don’t think that bc if it was it would be a continuous leak!
