Can tattoos get damaged if you get a cut or something that damages your skin like a burn or a pimple?

Yes. I got my very first tattoo on my wrist and like two days after I got it my dog managed to scratch a chunk out of it. It’s been 8 years since I got that tattoo and you can totally see where my dog scratched me.

I’ve had surface scratches on my tattoos and it doesn’t do anything. If you have to go to the hospital because of the cut then yeah it will probably affect it. Pimples aren’t going to cause any damage.
