Lose virginity after surgery?

About 4 months ago I had surgery (hymenectomy) because I had a microperforate hymen. After surgery my ob/gyn said I have very thick vaginal walls (not sure if that’s the right term but I can barely get 2 fingers in), but didn’t say anything else. I have a feeling I might lose my virginity soon with my bf, and I was wondering if anyone had experienced my same situation, and how painful/uncomfortable the sex was (will i bleed a lot?), any comments are appreciated :)
