I want to like it...but I don't

I hate giving & receiving oral, but I really want to like it. It's just super awkward to me. In theory, it's super hot, but in practice, it's super not.

I think part of the issue is just that we're not both being pleasured at the same time. When I'm giving head, it feels like too much a performance, like I'm being watched. And being on the receiving end is boring for me because my clit just isn't very sensitive, so I disconnect pretty quickly.

I've never tried 69 and I'm not sure I really want to, but I can't think of other solutions. I feel like this shouldn't be that difficult.
