skipping my period with birth control pill?

I’m 4 white pills away to starting the 7 brown pill which mean my period is pretty soon how can I skip having my period? Do I just star a new pack after I finish the left 4 white pills ? ( I don’t want to have my period for 4th of July 😩) HELP

Finish the last few active pills then start a new pack (so skip the placebo/inactive pills).

When you’re about to start the sugar pills (brown ones ) start a new pack !
I do this ,my ob said it’s fine for certain events but he said not to over do it
