Depends on your age and suspected infertility diagnosis. If you have endometriosis or pcos, I wouldn’t wait longer than 6 months. If 30s, I also wouldn’t wait 6 months.

If you have any PCOS symptoms I wouldn't wait. I told my normal Ob/Gyn I thought I had PCOS since I had so many of the symptoms. He never tested me for it and made me wait six months. My first visit with an RE I was diagnosed with PCOS and she said she wished I wouldn't have wait so she could have helped me earlier.
