How often did your 6 week old nurse?

Question is regarding exclusively breast fed babies at 6 weeks of age, during day time hours.

About every 2-3 hours, but sometimes as often as every hour. She’s almost 16 weeks and we’re still every 2-3 hours except at night. At night we get a 4-6 hour stretch, and then every 3 hours until we wake up for the day.

My baby is a comfort nurser. At 21m she still nurses every 2 hours, unless we are out. At that age she was on me ALL DAY and every 2-3 hours at night.

Almost constantly. In those first few months babies go through a ton of growth spurts and might want to eat every hour. I remember thinking something was wrong like a supply issue, but it’s normal.
