Can I be pregnant having sex once?
First... Let me start off by saying I'm in a same sex marriage and have decided to carry a baby for us seeing my wife can no longer have children.
My periods are very regular. I've never been on birth control. I'm a fairly healthy person. I don't take any medications etc.
I found a donor. My wife and I decided that I would do it naturally because that is the easiest way to achieve pregnancy.
I took an ovulation test on what glow said was my second day in fertile window. I took the test because I experienced a little of the clear egg white mucus and cramping on right side. The ovulation test said positive so I did the deed. It was around 11:30pm so almost the 3rd day of fertile window.
The donor has high sperm count. And two kids of his own.
My question is could I achieve pregnancy only having sex once? It was very uncomfortable for me and I'd like to not do it again.
What are my chances for success and what should I be looking for??
