Brown discharge.

It only lasted a couple days and my period isn't due for another 7 days but my breasts have been really sore for the last 2 weeks only in the morning and pm weird right?. Just wondering if I should be concerned about something. My husband and I were using the pullout method. No I don't need to  be told that's not the greatest method. I took a test and it was negative.
