Braxton Hicks?

So for the past few days I’m up all night with contractions, I’m assuming BH. But they are very uncomfortable and at times even painful enough I wake up crying. It’s worrying me because I am resting when these happen. Throughout the day they come off and on but at night they are pretty consistent. I plan on calling my OB in the morning if I have another night like this. Just wondering has anyone experienced anything similar. I’m almost 29 weeks.

If your BH are painful, it means you need more water. Even if you think you’re drinking enough, drink more. Good luck! ❤️

I’d call ASAP. BH are not painful. You should not be crying from pain from them at all. At best, they can be mildly uncomfortable. I had a lot of them at that stage but never painful. My dr told me to call right away if pain accompanied the tightness because it’s definitely not a BH. It’s also not common for them to happen when you’re sleeping. I’m not saying you’re having contractions, but I don’t think they’re BH, so I’d call if I were you!

Yes! Started happening at 28 weeks for me, I drink alotttttt of water and lay on my left side with my knees up and just breathe. Helps soooo much.
