Dry skin babies???

Hey mommas my girls have terrible dry skin I have read not to use baby lotion unless you feel you have too but then I hear it's fine. I'm just wondering if you moms have dealt with dry skin or used the baby lotion?? I only bath them a couple times a week to try to avoid drying their skin out to much.

I use coconut oil and acquaphor! They get a massage after bath time- they love it!

In the early weeks we had newborn rash (from the hormones in my milk so I assume it's newborn acne unless there's a name Breastfeeding acne lol idk) heat rash and dry skin. It was lovely. I changed their bath products and lotions immediately and starting using a brand called Tubby Todd. It is 100% natural, made for babies with sensitive skin and smells amazing! It instantly solved all our problems. The lotion is so rich and creamy it was great for their dry skin. I use the bath wash and the lotion not the bubble bath yet.
