Is it normal to barely bleed?

Is it normal to barely bleed just a few days after a c-section? Just some spotting and very once and a while a small gush.

Two weeks postpartum after c-section and I had almost no bleeding. It was awesome! Then about a week or so later it came back heavy and has been that way for three weeks. I’ve had an ultrasound to confirm my body didn’t retain any placenta but that there is a lot of blood preventing my uterus from contracting back down all the way. I was given meds to help and am still bleeding at 6 weeks although it does seem a bit lighter. I passed some golf ball sized clots and even bled through to the couch during a nap. Ugh. Not cool. 
If only biology said, “Oh you had a c-section? Ok, no vaginal bleeding for you!”

That’s exactly what I went through.  You don’t bleed much post c section because a lot of the blood comes out during the c section it’s self I stopped minus the occasional gush by 2 weeks pp

I'll be 2 weeks pp tomorrow and my bleeding has let off almost completely in the last few days. occasionally I'll have a gush of blood if I do too much around the house or walk too much.

I didn't have a c-section I had a vaginal birth. I was told to expect a fair amount of bleeding for atleast 2-4weeks, but I'm 12 days pp and I've hardly had any bleeding. Sometimes I'll just get a gush (ill run to the toilet and it'll be this tiny little spot of blood) I think it's normal but if your concerned contact your doctor
