Baby advice!?

Hey everyone! So I’ve been trying to do as much reading and digging as I can, listen to my dr and try and ask question but I still feel so under prepared! I feel like I’m totally clueless! What is your advice for a 1st time mommy, weather its products to use or not use, things that you learned along the way, anything you think will be useful!! Thank you!!

if you don't know about "purple period" look it up. 
have lots of clothes to use for burpping, spit up, drool. 
if your formula feeding companies love to give out coupons and samples. also formula fed poop looks seedy and it's normal. 
listen to everyone, smile & nod, but ultimately it's your choice.  
if you want no visitors do it. 
if you want all the visitors do it. 
if you want to take baby out a few days after birth do it. 
if you want them inside for the first week do it. 
even as babies they can have a rountine . 
read to them! my mil was shocked when I told her we read before bed to our now 3 month old, when she did she couldn't believe how he listened and looked at the pages. 
start doing tummy time from the get go! you don't need fancy pillows or mats a blanket on the floor works, or tummy time on you works too. 
it's ok to put baby down, walk away and cry on the floor while you tell your husband you wish your mom was here. 
(even though she had just been there and that day and drove you nuts)

Bumper pads are ok, but only the mesh ones. Rock n play is the greatest thing ever you can easily fold it and take it anywhere. Don't buy a bunch of the same type of bottle if you are doing bottles because babies will decide what they like. Don't give up breastfeeding until you have tried a nipple shield if you are having difficulty. Don't buy a ton of newborn clothes. I'll add more when I think of it. I have 3 children and am pregnant now. I also run a daycare.

Best diaper rash paste out there hands down is Bordeaux Butt paste. Essential oils especially lavender and frankincense are amazing for baby and help with sleep and stability after birth. Breast milk is amazing for baby but always remember fed is best!

Remember that women have been doing this for generations!  There’s an overwhelming amount of products and books and whatnot out there now, but trust in yourself and your instincts.  Once baby is here, you’ll know what to do to keep them safe and happy. The brand of bottle you use or what toys some book says help with brain development come secondary.
