Unsure of pregnancy

Okay so I’m just going to give the whole rundown. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex in one day three times the week after I ovulated. I get how stupid that was and honestly I feel like after how I’m-careful I was that I might deserve this.

My period is supposed to start tomorrow, but it almost always starts late, never early. Today I was spotting. Spotting isn’t irregular for me, but I also know that it is a sign of pregnancy, and frankly I’m terrified.

It could just be my period, but this could also mean I am now pregnant, and I’m not sure which is more likely. I would like input as to which outcome you think is more likely, thank you so much for anything you have to say
