Ectopic???

Question

I should be 5 weeks on Friday.  Doctor won't see me until the 30th.  
I feel like most if not all of my cramping is on left side.  How worried should I be?  
I'm kind of freaking out.

Most likely the side that you’re cramping on is the ovary that released the egg. Each time that I’ve been pregnant. (This is my fourth) the side that released the egg is the side that my cramps would be on. Super weird. But I would get them on the same time when I ovulated too. I’m not sure the exact cause.. But in my experience it’s normal. I have one living daughter. And I’m now 12.5 weeks. ;)

How bad is the cramping? Any shoulder pain? If the cramping is bad and you’re getting shoulder pain, spotting or bleeding then you need to get seen ASAP. Otherwise I’d wait it out if it is just light cramping

If you’re THAT concerned then go to urgent care. I wouldn’t be freaking out unless you have other symptoms of ectopic. Most of my cramping was one sided.

i had bad cramping on the right side and i just had a cyst on my ovary from where the egg was released, went away eventually though, i’m 20 weeks now and things are fine and where they’re supposed to be
