TTC #1 35yrs old and bipolar and conized cervix
So... my SO and I are talking about having a baby. We're having unprotected sex and if it happens we would be happy but we're not actually trying at the moment.
My concern is that I'm taking medicine for my bipolar disorder. My doctor, who subscribed the medicine, says there's no harm in taking them when being pregnant.
I'm not so sure about that. All I know is that if I get pregnant I would stop immediately even though it probably will affect my health a lot.
But, maybe I should stop taking them TTC? I could get pregnant next month or in five years (if ever). Impossible to know.
Should I stop taking them before TTC sacrificing my own health for (maybe) a long time but securing the baby's health, or stop taking them after BFP?
Or taking them all the time? The mood swings comes with being pregnant anyways but I'm afraid to add them to the ones I will live with for the rest of my life.
Also, two years ago I conized cervix because of HPV. They cut off about 1,5 inch. Would this make any difference?
Any experiences?
Sorry for my bad English (I'm Swedish)
