Tips on Weaning! PLEASE

Nicole

I can't take it anymore. It's like trying to nurse a badger. We've been on demand breastfeeding up until about a month ago (he's 17 months) and he has always been a bad sleeper so he is fed to sleep. (Ya, bad habit but we've tried all kinds of sleep training and nothing worked and I need to sleep!)

I have him down to ten minutes when he wakes up and ten minutes at night, and then I walk him until he's really asleep. Getting this far has taken a whole month. He gets so upset when I say no (occasionally he'll still ask during the day).

Do I cut out the morning feed first? Get him used to that for a few weeks and then start cutting down the night time feed? Do I shave a few minutes off the feed everyday or just go cold turkey? GIVE ME THE TIPS LADIES!🤞

Thanks!
