Do you ever know when the right time is??

Hi all, 
          I am 27 years old and married for 3 years. My husband is ready for kids and excited but me on the other hand I’m scared and not sure if I’m ready or even know when I will be ready. I thought I would be ready this year and went off of bc in April but the more I think about it the more scared I get! Has anyone else been scared? Is that a sign that it’s not time or is it normal to be nervous?

I’m 27 also and nervous as well! I want kids so bad but then everything runs through my head about finances and everything and I start to get nervous again. But he keeps reassuring me that we will figure it out when the time comes! So I believe it’s perfectly normal to be nervous!

I felt the exact same way! And then we got pregnant (I was 29) and it’s like a switch flipped on and I was ready. Scared, yes. But  mostly because it’s unknown territory. 
I didn’t think I even had a “deep connection” to my little ball of cells at 8 weeks until I had some spotting early on. You wanna talk about first time mom freak out. Hahaha when the doctor told me everything was fine and I had calmed down I knew I had this undying love for this baby so deep that nothing in this natural world could break it. Only a few more months before we get to meet her in person. ❤️
My advice, if you know you want a child and you’re stable and in a loving/trusting relationship then go for it. It turns you and your husband into the biggest softies but it is SO magical.

I was certain I was ready when I found out I was pregnant, but like a dumbass, wanted to back out when the labor pain hit last second. It took me two years to know I was ready for another one, but I ended up waiting eight.

You won't be ready until they place that helpless ball of flesh in your arms, and even then you'll feel lost for the next 18 years at times. The fact that you are worried shows that you are responsible enough to have kids.

Thank you everyone it’s nice to see that it’s normal to be nervous. I kept seeing all the excitement on here and wondered if I wasn’t ready since all I do is worry lol but I am the type to plan everything

im 25 married for 3 years and I think it's normal to be nervous for a big life change and big responsibilities. I don't think men get how much work and effort it is on you mentally and physically
