Husband says we can’t afford second baby..

I’m 31 pregnant with my first child. We had to do

due to male factor infertility which cost us 30,000. I was hoping for twins which didn’t happen. I am an only child and I wanted at least two children. I told my husband I’d like to have our second child before 35. I’m just so sad he says we can’t afford it due to how expensive it is to raise a child plus

IVF

cost. He said if I can figure out a way to make more money then we can talk about it. Has anyone been in this situation?
