relationship question

so my boyfriend and I have been going through a rough patch lately. arguing and fighting a lot. however we got through it. I love him to death. and he says he loves me. but when we fight it is because of something I say, like I say the wrong thing. but its because he pushes me away that I say what I say. and then we start arguing. i want to tell him that he has to stop pushing me away if he wants to be with me. but I dont know if I should tell him that or something else or anything at all. what should I say, if anything? thanks for any advice in advanced.
