This is just random celebrity gossip that doesn’t really matter but I’m having a slow day at work and seeing this a lot on the internet.

Ariana Grande, as I’m sure most of you know, had a terrorist blow up a bomb at her Manchester concert last year. She is also newly engaged to SNL comedian Pete Davidson who she has been dating for about 2 months (or maybe even less). News came out that Pete made a joke at one of his comedy shows last year that was about how now Ariana must know she’s famous and successful now because Britney Spears never had a terrorist at one of her concerts. And her fans are PISSED, it’s all you can see on his Instagram comments.

Worth noting: Pete Davidson’s firefighter dad died in 9/11 and he has made 9/11 jokes and had them made about him.

So I guess my question is, do you think dark humour like this is ok? Are some topics off limits? If so, which ones? Do you think he deserves to be “cancelled” for it? Does it change your mind knowing he also experienced losing someone by a terrorist attack?
