2 surges?

I had a surge on July 2nd (assuming I either ovulated the 3rd or 4th) and my tests on the 3rd and 4th were very light and yesterday, the 5th the line was barely visible. I just now took another test out of curiosity and it’s definitely positive. Is that normal? If so, did I already ovulate or am I about to? Sorry if this is a dumb question. I genuinely don’t know

It’s possible for lh to surge without triggering ovulation. In those cases, your body will surge again to try to ovulate. If you have irregular cycles, it doesn’t hurt to keep testing (people with regular cycles have no need to keep testing). Learning to chart bbt will be good for you so you can confirm if the first surge resulted in O or not. I’d bd today and tomorrow just in case :)

Your body probably got ready to ovulate and didn’t so it tried again or if it’s close to your period it can cause another surge
