Two children with two different men?

I over heard some people talking about how bad it is to have two children with two different men, I have a son with a man from a long 10 year relationship who in the end cheated on me, so I left. Later on, I met another man and we decided to have a child. I do not ever planning on having anymore children, ever. But am I the only one? I feel so self conscious now after those comments. Obviously it’s my life and I’ll do what I want... but it really hurt. I guess I’m just too sensitive...

people often only see through a very narrow viewing lens and make assumptions and judgments off of that narrow perspective. they just see it as "omg 2 baby daddies gross" but dont realize that there are more circumstances than just the ones that their puny minds can comprehend. when they say things like that, its not a demonstration of the kind of person you are but the kind of person they are.

There’s nothing wrong with that. Not everyone stays with the person they originally have a child/children with.

I think 2 different dads is pretty common. Out of all of my cousins and their parents (which is roughly 50 people) im one of 3 that have all their kids by the same person. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would try not to let those comments bother you.  I have 4 kids, 3 with my ex husband and 1 with my fiancé.  Families aren't "traditional" anymore, and it is sad that people are still judgmental.  I cannot control what other people say or think, but I like to think I'm making a small difference by teaching my own children that families are different, and it's ok.

Who gives a fuck! It's none of their business and they don't know anyones story! My cousin had a baby with a guy and when she was months old he shot himself. Now years later she is getting ready to get married and plan children. So no one knows and if it bothers people that much then they need less time on their hands

I have one child from a previous marriage, and I'm due next month with baby number 2 with my current husband. I honestly don't care if people look down on me for it. Shit happens and having multiple baby daddies in no way defines who you are as a person.

I have 4 kids with 2 different fathers. My oldest 3 are 12, 10, 7, I was with for 14yrs and then my boyfriend now of 2 yrs, we have an 8m old together. I personally don’t care about other peoples paternal situations because it’s not my place to judge ☺️

I think that people are not thinking of being in a relationship. I have a cousin who has three different baby daddies and was only ever in a relationship with one of the men. She had one night stands with the other two. She also talks about getting pregnant again by someone who will actually pay child support. That is the type of thing that bother me. It's not that her children all have different dads. It's how she acts about it.

My neice is from my brothers fiances ex and my nephew is from my brother.  We don't treat my niece any different. She's a part of our family and that's how it should be.  What family isn't blended anymore?  Love is love.
