Promise to your daughter

My parents never had the sex talk. I remember the class in 5th grade they signed off on

But they never brought it up

Conversation with my daughter will be had.

She is 8 now and I had her at 20

Sex to me was how you showed a guy you liked him not anything to protect or cherish . For my daughter it will be a jewlel something she gives away when she wants to some one she feels worthy

Not some check mark because she was curios or thought she needed to. It will be special for her and on her own terms.
