Sex hurts

I recently had sex w my boyfriend and we’ve been having it pretty rough. The first few times were amazing and great but was rough. Tonight was the night we didn’t really go that much into foreplay because we had to do some stuff. Sex hurt 😭 Does the sex hurt because there wasn’t much foreplay or was it because we have been to rough the past few night? Also, the night before I’d didn’t pee immediately after sex, I fell asleep for four hours. May that be a cause? I recently was treated for a UTI (which I don’t usually get) but would that be a possible reason too ?
