This is my third time medically managing miscarriage with this drug. First two times I used the pills vaginally and one dose was all I needed.

This time around the first dose got me bleeding but I haven’t passed any tissue. The doctor had me take a second dose last night. Zero cramping, no tissue. This morning while showering I went to check my cervix to see how open it was and pulled out a giant blob of undissolved pills. I don’t know it it was one or both doses.

So now I’m thinking I might have to try them orally. My doctor is a small clinic and is closed while he’s on vacation. Neither the pharmacist or the nurse on call at my regular doctor will give advice on taking the third dose orally because they want the prescribing doctor to make the call. I’d love to get it over with tomorrow since I already have the day off.

Any advice on whether it’s better to dissolve under your tongue, in your cheek, or just to swallow?
