Molar Pregnancy?

Hi all! I am currently pregnant with my 2nd. I have a perfectly healthy 10 month old little boy. My doctor wanted me to get a dating scan because I never got a period after breastfeeding before I became pregnant.

Long story short...it wasn’t good news. She basically said they saw a normal gestational sac and normal looking yolk sac but no official heartbeat but what looks like the start of a fetal pole. She said I might be too early to see and to come back in a week to check again.

Then.....she said I have cystic areas in my uterus that could be turning into a molar pregnancy. She also said it could be some possible hemorrhaging but I haven’t bled at all. I had to get my HCG levels tested which went from 1,174 to 32,500 in 9 days. I am going back on Wednesday for another sonogram.

I have spent the last 5 days googling and thinking the absolute worst since a molar pregnancy isn’t something that is a simple fix.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? At this point I have no idea what to think or feel. I’m trying to stay positive but it’s extremely hard when your health is in jeopardy as well.
