Did I wait to long?

This December I turn 41, the hubby and I have been trying for a second child for 4 months now. I know that might not seem like a long time but I am scared that we waited to long. My son is 17 and I got pregnant with him right away. Guess I am just looking for thought and ideas of how long it’s safe to keep trying. Or should I just give up?

I m 42 and 28 weeks pregnant. As long as you period come you are still in the game! Have you tried clomiphene?

It’s safe to keep trying as long as you have a period.  It might just take longer due to poor egg quality as we age.  Consider taking supplements.  I recommend getting and reading ‘It Starts with the Egg’.  Good luck.  I did IVF at 41 and have my gorgeous 6 week old now.

I’m 40, have a 24 year old and my now husband and I have been trying for two years! We’ve had 2 MC in the last 6 months and have had all the necessary tests and got the all clear. We’re now pregnant again at 5 weeks (praying this one lasts). If your ready then I suggest get tested, then you’ll know where u stand, where to go next and have a drs advice to help you along. Your not to old! I’m 40 and am also trying it’s been 4 months for me too seems like it’s taking so long, I have 3 other children and I never tried for any of them. Cant believe it’s taking so long. I hope you get your lil angel soon!
