Provera to start a period, then missed next cycle??😕

So I had to take 10mg provera last month to start my period, I'm usually normal but was almost 2 months late and pregnancy tests were negative, so I was put on provera to start , it worked, I took it once a day for 10 days, 2 days later I had my normal 4 day period. Now this month I'm 10 days late, negative pregnancy test and still no period. Has anyone had it work then you miss your next cycle? what do they do for that? I've never had this at all so I'm worried something is wrong 😔 I contacted my dr this morning but waiting to hear back. We've been ttc for a year now. I've had a HSG, it was good, husband has been checked, his swimmers are great, Any input or information would be helpful, thank you ladies
