BD before ovulation?

hello! I have been doing some reading and it says that BD 1-2 BEFORE you ovulate is actually better than day of ovulation. Does anyone have experience with this? it says that it gives the sperm more time to get to the egg prior to ovulation and then sit around and wait. thanks!

We bd the day I get a positive so 12-36 hours prior to actual ovulation, it gives the sperm time to get to the tube to wait on the egg and also go through capacitation which  is essential for fertilization. I am currently 6 weeks ... after 2 previous losses in 6 months

yep! I do both...actually...I try to do everyday for like...four days

I did four days leading up to and ovulation day 6 months and nothing so now trying every other day in the month and yes I was defo ovulating as used OPK it’s just luck and doesn’t always happen
