nipple piercing

i feel like my nipple piercing is constantly infected i feel like. for the first three months they were fine but then after that they get infected frequently and i’m constantly cleaning it out with wound wash and it’ll be fine for a couple of days then it gets infected and it quickly goes away but then it happens again. how do i fix this i need it to stop
