Chemical pregnancy

I had a positive hpt on July 4, then a positive blood test at my doctors on July 5. Then repeat blood work on the 7th showed that my hcg did not increase. I started bleeding yesterday morning. The Dr says it’s a chemical pregnancy. Looking for others experiences with this.
