Why are boy names so difficult???

Question

My first son was named after my husband and father in law and it’s now my turn to decide the name for baby two. I definitely want Thomas as the middle name but the first name I can’t decide! 
... Cayde would be pronounced similar to Caden just without the n.

Oh I feel your pain but it’s the opposite for me! I have a 6 yr old son and came up with his name super fast, basically modernized what my name would have been had I been a boy and it just fit him so well. I have an almost 9 month old girl that we were not expecting to be a girl at all since girls don’t rule the family gender odds, so we had a boy name picked out and then surprise she was a girl! So for her name we each have a son from a previous relationship so we combined their names to get hers. So then we find out we’re having a very unplanned unexpected baby (due 11/16/18) and just knew this one would be a boy because we got lucky with our girl and surprise surprise this baby is also a girl we recently found out. Sooooo now we’re having a girl name struggle because everything I like he hates and vice versa, which sucks because last pregnancy it came so easy and we loved it. Now it’s like for one of us or the other all girl names suck!!! Grrr! Doesn’t help that we were exactly planning or ready to have this one or we might’ve had more time to discuss or pick a name we both like but it’s been like a whirlwind and we feel rushed in the whole experience. So it’s crunch time! So for now baby is still just baby and we don’t talk about names or pregnancy or any of it. But I think when you find the name you won’t just like it you’ll just feel it’s right and nothing you find can even compare. So wait for that feeling! Don’t be swayed by the poll results here. :)
