My husband and I were having a discussion about how my parents say we’re still in the “honeymoon faze” of our relationship, so I just wanted to get other people’s opinions on how long the honeymoon faze lasts.

I classify the honeymoon phase as the relationship being new and not having the stresses of life affecting you together yet. So it really depends on how fast the relationship moves along.

My husband is military. Ours lasted all of 2.5 months (our dating phase haha). Then we got married and moved in together and life has been insane ever since haha we're still madly in love of course, but that honeymoon phase dissolved very quickly thanks to this lifestyle. But honestly, I'd never trade our current marriage for the honeymoon phase. The honeymoon phase is fun and exciting and full of love, but what comes after that is even better. It's when you actually settle down and start building a life together. And while our marriage has been insanely challenging and stressful, I wouldn't trade the life we've built for anything :)
