I've scheduled my appointment to get the mirena iud tomorrow! I plan on taking ibuprofen before the appointment but I'm still nervous for the cramping. I get really bad cramps when I have my period and I just want to know if I should expect it to be that bad or worse. please let me know your experience!

UPDATE:

it went well! I have an iud! there was a lot of cramping yesterday I'm glad I took the afternoon off from work. still cramping today but not nearly as bad as yesterday. I'm assuming it only gets better ☺️
