Can't believe how far I have come

I was just looking through old pictures and decided to share some of my story for any younger girls who may be pregnant right now. I fell pregnant at 18 by a guy I had a one night stand with. I was drunk, experimenting with pills, and making poor decisions. I was partying way too often during my last year of high school and didn't even care if I finished at that point. During one of my evenings of partying I ended up sleeping with one of the drug dealers at the party and found out 4 weeks later I was expecting. I went in to have an abortion at a place I thought provided those services and ended up at a clinic against abortions! The kind women there talked me about of it (thank god). Once I decided to keep the baby I finished high school quickly and got back with an ex who would end up signing my son's birth certificate since the biological dad wanted no part of it. My then boyfriend played a major role in my son's life for the first 4 years of his life but he became abusive towards me so I ended up leaving him. Once I left him he slowly but surely stopped seeing our son for the most part (he sees him a few times a year these days). It has now been 4 years since I left my ex and I am now married to a wonderful man who my now 8 year old son absolutely adores. My husband's daughter is my son's age and they are best friends. We are currently trying for a baby and I can't wait for the day I get a bfp. I can't wait to actually celebrate my pregnancy knowing I have a husband and a house of my own! Looking back at pictures it is just crazy to see where I was and where I am now. No matter your situation or age nothing is hopeless and things can get better. I never thought I could be where I am now when I was in my early 20s. I was always broke and dealing with an abusive partner who made my life a living hell. Here's a few pictures of when I was 18 and pregnant (I decorated that pic when I was 18 so ignore the glittery font lol), my son as a baby, and my wonderful family now. I don't know what group to post this in so I will just go with health and lifestyle? lol
